What's Included

Straightforward service, fully documented

Relining done to code

  • Camera assessment of the existing liner
  • Stainless steel liner sized for your appliance
  • Insulated liners where code or performance requires
  • Connection to stoves, inserts and fireplaces
  • Full system test after installation
  • Photo documentation of the finished liner

The right liner size matters as much as the liner itself — an oversized flue drafts poorly and builds creosote faster.

How It Works

Three simple steps

Camera inspection

We scope the flue and show you the actual condition — cracks, gaps or tile damage.

Right-size the liner

Matched to your fireplace, stove or insert for proper draft and safety.

Install and verify

The liner goes in, connections are sealed, and the system is tested end to end.

Warning Signs

When to call us

Flue tile shards in the fireboxClay tiles shedding pieces mean the liner is breaking down.
After any chimney fireEven a brief flue fire cracks clay tiles — the system isn't safe until relined or verified.
Adding a stove or insertNew appliances almost always need a correctly sized new liner to vent safely.
Gaps found on inspectionMissing mortar joints between tiles let heat reach framing — a hidden fire risk.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does a stainless liner last?

Quality stainless liners are typically warrantied for decades and outlast the original clay tiles.

Do I need a liner for a gas insert?

Yes — gas inserts vent through a properly sized liner; venting into an unlined masonry flue is unsafe and against code.

Can you reline without tearing the chimney apart?

Yes — liners install from the top down in most chimneys, no demolition.

How do I know if my liner is damaged?

You usually can't see it — that's why the camera inspection matters. Tile shards in the firebox are the visible clue.
