What we found
A flue coated in creosote from top to bottom. The homeowner had been burning regularly without an annual sweep.
What we did
Full sweep of the flue, smoke chamber and firebox with containment and HEPA extraction, then a photo-documented inspection of the whole system.
Why it mattered
Creosote is the leading cause of chimney fires and it builds whether you burn a lot or a little. The before photo is what a year or two of skipped sweeps looks like.
