Wood Stove Replacement
A real job, photographed as we worked. Nothing staged and nothing borrowed.
BEFOREAFTER
What we found, and what we did
What we found
An old stove past its service life sitting in a masonry alcove, with pipe that no longer met current practice.
What we did
Old unit removed, new stove set, connector pipe and liner brought up to standard, hearth protection checked and the system tested.
Why it mattered
Stove replacements are as much about the venting as the stove. A new unit on old pipe is a new unit that still does not draft properly.
Every job we do is photographed the same way, whether we find a problem or not. You get the pictures either way.
